Kolkata leather cluster entities get Fibre2fashion glow

Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India is pleased to announce the online branding and promotion of Kolkata Leather Cluster through world’s leading internet platform – FIBRE2FASHION.
Kolkata Leather Cluster is being mentored by Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India as the facilitating agency and Small Industries Development Bank of India is the implementing agency.
Sponsors for this prestigious project are World Bank, Department for International Development UK (DFID), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and KfW Bankengruppe (KfW).
Informing this Mr T K Kumar, Project In Charge for EDI, Kolkata said, “Online branding and promotion was one of the main areas which we seek to promote our cluster entities in and hence we sought expertise of Fibre2fashion.com.”
Currently, four Kolkata Leather Cluster entities have been promoted through the micro website. They are Let’s, Om Leather, Podder Son’s Ex.L. Pvt. Ltd. and Rajda Industries and Exports Pvt. Ltd.
“All these entities produce excellent exportable leather products like gent’s wallets, notecases, credit card holders, ladies purses, card holders, bags – fashionable ladies handbags, Leather / canvas bags, gents folio, other items like laptop cases, file covers, folders, organiser, travel items, flexie tote bags, laptop case or laptop folio, soft luggage and other leather goods,” informed Mr Kumar.
