GTN to debut first of its kind mercerized cotton t-shirts

GTN textiles, the vertically integrated textile company, is debuting its own Organic clothing label and in the process move up the textile value-chain. After having launched branded cotton socks, it is planning to unveil the first of its kind; 100 percent mercerized cotton t-shirts under the brand name of Coystyle, in the next six months.

At the same time, the company is also ramping up production capacity by investing Rs 750 million at its two spinning units in Hyderabad and Nagpur, by adding 30,000 spindles to its existing capacity of 90,000 in the next 18 months. This will take yarn output from the existing 25 tons per day to 40 tons.
GTN Industries is a name to reckon with in the Indian textile sector, for its vertically integrated operations, encompassing 100 percent cotton yarn spinning and processing, fabric knitting and processing and garmenting, with multi-location operations and state-of-the-art manufacturing plants.
