Sioen Industries Enjoys Q3 Trading

Sioen Industries n.v., producer of technical textiles, fine chemicals and high-tech protective clothing, announces its YTD results at the end of the third quarter 2011.

Consolidated Results (continuing operations) :
At the end of Q3, the Sioen Industries Group realized sales from continuing operations of EUR 243.5 million compared to EUR 215.5 million last year or a growth of 13 %.

Coating Division: extrusion of yarns, fabrics and coated technical textiles
This division achieved sales of EUR 149.6 million YTD Q3 2011, against EUR 132.2 million over the same period last year, or a growth of 13.2 %. This growth is driven by the direct coating (transport, textile architecture, camping, agriculture) on the one hand and by the online coating (construction and agriculture) on the other hand.
