Jockey Canada Company wants people to wear cool underwear. Literally. Jockey is introducing the Jockey staycool line of undergarments to the Canadian market – innovative underwear for men and women that regulates skin temperature up to three degrees ferinheight, helping to keep bodies cool and comfortable all day long.
"What's great about staycool is that it feels so natural against your body; not too loose or too tight. It just fits, you go about your day and you're comfortable," said Tim Tebow, quarterback for the NFL's Denver Broncos and Jockey staycool spokesperson.
Jockey International staycool incorporates a patented Outlast technology treatment that uses phase change materials (PCMs) to absorb, store and release excess heat and maintain optimal external body temperature. Cotton fibre is treated with Outlast, creating an invisible microclimate of comfort between the skin and garment.
"Since the first pair of Jockey briefs hit the shelves in 1934, Jockey has been a leader in the innovation of comfortable and functional undergarments," said Theresa Walsh, Director of Merchandise, Jockey Canada Company. "Jockey staycool is the next level in undergarments."
Jockey is the first company to market both women's  underwear and men's underwear treated with Outlast technology to the North American market. The Outlast technology was originally developed for NASA to help balance temperature fluctuations in space and keep astronauts comfortable.
