Teijin Fibers will present its environmentally friendly high performance polyester materials under the concept of “The Fusion of Ecology & Function.” The company’s fourth appearance in the exhibition will focus mainly on ELKTM (ELASTY), a urethane-alternative, high-performance polyester cushioning material, which a growing number of companies are using to make bra cups. The company also aims to expand business in the international innerwear market in parallel with its appearance in Interfiliere Paris 2010.
The Teijin Fibers booth will feature the following key products:
• ELKTM (ELASTY), high-performance polyester cushioning material that can be used in place of urethane. It is lightweight, durable, highly rebounding, highly breathable and does not get yellow easily, making it an ideal material for cushioning materials in bra cups. It is also environmentally friendly as it does not generate cyanogen gas when incinerated. It has already been used by international innerwear brands.
